Are the board evaluation templates in Governance Pro© customizable?
Yes. The evaluation criteria in every Governance Pro© board evaluation template can be easily customized to meet your organizational needs by your account administrator.

How many board evaluations can we perform each year?
There are no limits. Many of our clients choose to perform more than one board evaluation anually to determine if corrective action is warranted to ensure their organizational goals stay on track.

Can we conduct more than one evaluation at the same time?
Yes. Governance Pro© robust web-based design gives your board the ability to conduct an unlimited number of board evaluations simultaneously (example; a board evaluation, a CEO evaluation and an audit committee evaluation) without worry of combining the results of one board evaluation with another.

Once I start an evaluation, will I lose my work if I need to stop prior to completing it?
No. Governance Pro© allows you to work at your own pace. If you need to stop during an evaluation for whatever reason just save and exit the evaluation and return to it later to continue from where you last left off.

Are there any special computer requirements to use Governance Pro©?
Just access to an Internet connection. Other than that, no special requirements are necessary to use Governance Pro©.

What happens to an evaluation after a board member completes it?
Once an evaluation is completed; it locks and saves a copy in the completed evaluations section of the board members private account. A copy is also saved in your account administrators completed evaluations section.

What if a board member needs to make a change to their evaluation after it has been completed?
Your account administrator has access to a restore function which will unlock the completed evaluation and move it back into the board member’s pending evaluation section for changes or edits.

How do we know when all of the evaluations have been completed?
Governance Pro© keeps track of which evaluations have been completed and identifies which evaluations are still pending in your account administrators login.

Who is the account administrator?
Your board can designate an individual of their choice to be your account administrator, or for a nominal fee, Governance Pro© can act as the account administrator for your organization.

Does Governance Pro© offer a CEO evaluation template?
Yes. It is just one of the many comprehensive board evaluation templates we offer our Governance Pro© clients.

How do board members know when its time to start a new evaluation?
Governance Pro© has an internal e-mail feature that your account administrator can use to notify board members of upcoming evaluations, news and events.

What happens if a board member forgets their Username and/or Password?
They can contact your account administrator who can retrieve all lost and forgotten usernames and passwords.

What resources are available to our account administrator when they have questions or require assistance?
Three choices are available.
1) Governance Pro© contains a comprehensive help section separated by topic that provides step-by-step instructions to answer most questions your account administrator may have.
2) They can visit the Governance Pro© website where we have provided answers to actual client questions in the frequently asked questions section.
3) They can contact us toll free for live support.

Some of our board members are not very computer savvy. How much training will they require in order to use the program?
If your board members can use email or an ATM, they can use Governance Pro©. They simply login to their private user account and the user-friendly one button page navigation and simple “point and click” approach to rating performance will guide your board members through each page of the evaluation from start to finish.

We are going to begin our second year of board evaluations using Governance Pro©. Do we have to start from square one again and create this year’s evaluation from scratch?
No you don’t. Each evaluation you created in the past can be copied and used again this year using the copy template feature in Governance Pro©. This allows your organization to run the same evaluation year after year with no editing saving you time and money. If something does need to be changed, the copied template is fully customizable.

How soon will we see the results after all of our board members have completed the evaluation?
Governance Pro© automatically complies the results of each completed evaluation into the summary report as they are completed giving you instant access to the results.

If we were to purchase Governance Pro©, how long does the implementation process take?
Because Governance Pro© is web-based, access to the system can be granted within minutes of the decision to purchase. Then you simply decide if you need to make any changes to the evaluation criteria, make those changes, and start evaluating board performance.
